ExoScope Event Intel

Also known as: Event Intel, News spike analysis

Alpha scans the chart for measurable spikes, matches them to nearby catalysts, and lets AI explain only the strongest pairs — separate from Layout.

Pipeline

  1. Code scans ~500 bars for z-score anomalies (price, volume, volatility, taker buy/sell, RSI).
  2. Match medium+ events within ±3 bars of each spike.
  3. AI narrates only the top pairs — summary + per-event explanation.

On the chart

  • Vertical bands on bars where event + spike aligned.
  • Pins with ◇ marker and hover tooltip (spike labels + AI text).
  • Event pins capped at 1D candles when events are on chart.

In the event list

Matching timeline cards get an Event Intel block with confidence, spike tags, and the explanation — synced with chart selection.

Frequently asked

Which plan includes Event Intel?
Alpha only. The Event Intel tab in the ExoScope sheet opens the upgrade gate for Free and Pro. Chart event pins and the full timeline are Pro features; Intel is an extra Alpha layer on top.
How is this different from the event timeline?
The timeline lists catalysts. Event Intel finds where a catalyst lined up with a **measurable spike** on the chart and writes an AI explanation. Only those pairs are pinned when Intel mode is on — not every headline.
When does the Intel button appear in the toolbar?
Only after you run an analysis and results are saved for that symbol. Toggle Intel to show highlight bands and pins; explanations also attach to matching cards in the event list.
