Bitcoin Holder Behavior — Wallet Flows
Also known as: Bitcoin wallet flows, Wallet flows, On-chain holder desk
A BTC-only desk that reads how holders realize profit, move old coins, and heat the cycle — with a daily regime label, not a buy/sell call.
What you see on the asset page
On BTC Asset Info, the Bitcoin wallet flows section gives you:
- Today's regime — one word summary (e.g. accumulation, distribution, mixed).
- Collapsed metrics — SOPR, VDD, RHODL, long-term SOPR at a glance.
- Full lab — five chart panels when you expand.
- AI brief (Pro) — plain-language summary of the same snapshot, quota-limited.
Nothing here tells you to buy or sell. It answers: what are holders doing on-chain right now?
The five building blocks
| Block | What it measures |
|---|---|
| SOPR | Are moved coins sold at profit or loss? |
| STH / LTH cohorts | Who is spending — recent buyers or old holders? |
| RHODL | Is cycle heat building (young vs old coin weight)? |
| VDD | Are old coins waking up vs normal? |
| MVRV | Is market price far above on-chain cost basis? |
The holder regime merges these into one daily state with confidence (high / medium / low).
How to use it without overfitting
- Regime stable for days → context is clearer; watch for shifts in SOPR or VDD first.
- Mixed + low confidence → signals disagree; don't force a narrative.
- Regime changed banner → compare why bullets and cohort matrix before reacting.
- Pair with Truth Check (derivatives) and Health Check (liquidity) on the same asset page.

Frequently asked
Is this a trading signal?
No. The regime is a context label from fixed rules. Use it with price, funding, and your own plan — not as automatic entries.
Why only Bitcoin?
Reliable long-history on-chain series exist mainly for BTC. Altcoins need different data and rules.
