How to Read BTC Holder Behavior on Exum

A practical order for reading regime, SOPR, cohorts, RHODL, and VDD without treating the desk as a buy/sell button.

1. Start with the regime pill

Read the today label and confidence:

  • High — metrics mostly agree; headline is trustworthy as context.
  • Low — mixed inputs; read Why this regime before acting on the word alone.

If you see regime changed, compare yesterday vs today in the banner.

2. Scan four numbers (collapsed view)

MetricQuick question
SOPRProfit or loss spending?
VDDOld coins moving?
RHODLCycle heat?
LTH-SOPRAre veterans selling at profit?

3. Open the lab when something looks off

Five panels:

  1. Profit / loss — SOPR + zones
  2. Old coins — VDD
  3. Cycle heat — RHODL
  4. ValuationMVRV
  5. CohortsSTH / LTH

Read the gray interpretation line under each title — it is rule-based, same as the engine.

4. Optional Pro layers

5. Cross-check outside on-chain

On the same BTC page (Asset Info):

Holder behavior is slow context; Truth Check is fast hour context.

Common mistakes

  • Treating accumulation as "buy" — it means on-chain tone, not timing.
  • Ignoring mixed regimes — often the correct answer.
  • Reacting to one VDD spike without SOPR/cohort confirmation.
